Hey everyone! I was tagged by the lovely Karen from Allure of CF Beauty to do this 8 questions tag! Definitely stop by her blog. You can learn a lot from her about how you can do your part to buy cruelty-free beauty products!

Here's her 8 questions:

1) What are the three things that mean most to you in life?
Family, Friends, and my furbabies!

2) If you could pick to use only one kind of beauty product to use, would it be (1) cheeks products, (2) lip products, (3) eye products? I'll be nice and not include skin products ;)
I'll have to say eye products; if eyebrow pencil counts as "eye" products? Most of you know I cannot live without eyebrow pencil because I have no eyebrows without it lol XD

3) Are you more influenced by money or more by personal interest and happiness when it comes to your career/future career?
Definitely personal interest and happiness because I know that what I want to do does not make a lot of money unless you really make it big :(

4) What are your top three favorite food dishes?
Homemade soup, ice cream, hmm... french fries! Can you believe after 19 years, I am FINALLY sick of pizza?! I always thought I'd be able to eat pizza for days and days... but I am actually really sick of pizza... it kind of grosses me out now :O

5) What do you fear most?
The things I don't know and can't control. "People fear what they don't understand and hate what they can't conquer."

6) What are your hobbies or interests (besides blogging)?
Graphic and web design, photography, decoden, online/in-store shopping, listening to music, looking at / creating art, playing with Happy and Muffin, spending time w/ friends and family.

7) What is one of your childhood dreams and has it come true?
One of my childhood dreams (dream job) was to become a paleantologist or archaeologist. Seriously. Like REALLY seriously. But of course, neither came true... now I realize I don't think I'm cut out to do that kind of work :P

8) Do you like to wear accessories, and if yes what kinds?
Yes, I'm a necklace fiend!

is that how your name is really spelled? "Erynn"? Hahah, that is so cute if it's trueYes, that's how it's really spelled (: My parents wanted the "ynn" from my mom's name, Lynn.

So inevitably,
I get people trying incredibly awkward pronounciations and spellings of my name. Pronounciation-wise, I get "Aaron" a lot, mostly from guys that for some reason can't pronounce it like the name "Erin." I also get "Erwin" or "Err--in" sometimes... and one time, this substitute teacher pronounced it something like "Er-o-in"... but it sounded more like "Heroin" :/ Spelling-wise, I ALWAYS get "Erin." Sometimes, "Erinn" or "Eryn" and one time, "Eyrnn." Lol. It's spelled with a Y, people!

Oh, I don't think I've mentioned yet, but Muffin is now an outside cat. At first we did not want to have to keep her outside because we have tiny fire ants, but they seem to have died so now she is outside and seems to be doing pretty good. She holds her own against the other cats around my house... but she always cries to come back in and it breaks my heart :( But god she is just so evil! So she has to stay outside.

Smoky Green EOTD/FOTD & Lucky Chinese Tag

Played with some greens today since I wore a green shirt. It's been awhile since I used more vibrant color! Back in the day I would rock blues all day every day. Why? I have no idea!

Today I felt greeny ♥ Lime green is one of my fav colors, so I used a lil bit of that and smoked it out. My skin is crap lately because I ate Taco Bell chalupas 3 days in a row this week. Why do they have to be so damn good?!

10 Beauty facts

Lisa from Shop N' Chomp did this awesome tag on 10 beauty facts about yourself! So I "stole" this tag from her hehe =)

Anyways, here's my 10 beauty factoids - - -

1. From time to time, I get ONE BIG JUICY PIMPLE in the WORST place. Right now, it's smack dab on my left cheek (on my face :P). I only get it in horribly noticeable places, like on the tip of my nose, the middle of my forehead, between my eyebrows, or on/in my eyebrows. In addition to being huge and disgusting, it lasts forever. TMI?! And for the record, no spot treatment has EVER worked for me more than once!!!

2. I am addicted to collecting lip balm/gloss. The dumb thing is though, that I tend to buy buy buy and then not use any of it -_-



3. I'm totaly with you Lisa, I suck at applying falsies! If I were better at it, I'd wear them every day! ↓ TOOK ME FOREVERRRR TO DO =(



4. I am a lover of Neutrogena, but only because a select few of their products have HG status!



5. I range between being a budget and brand buyer.






6. My skin is mineral spoiled. EDM has been my go-to for over 2 years.



7. I own NO MAC! Yes, I am serious!



8. I love bright, funky nail polish. I almost always have my nails did =)



9. At nighttime, I ALWAYS take my "face" off, no matter what. Lol.

Frosty Purple NOTD + purple tag!

The beautiful Miss Julie from Pop Champagne tagged me to do this fun color tag! She chose the color purple. So I had to find 7 purple things around my house!

And here's where the NOTD comes in!

1. It was an awesome coincidence that right before I found out she tagged me, I had painted my nails purple! Hehe. I used LA Girls Flare Bright Delights nail polish from F21. I posted awhile ago that I liked the same brand nailpolish in a turquoise color. However, I totally did not like this purple! :( It was really thin and even layering on coats still dried to a dull, dull finish. To spice it up, I tipped my nails with Wet N Wild glitter polish. It was still ugly. So like I did with a previous ugly polish, I topcoated with my Rimmel nailpolish, which seems to make any ugly color nice and shimmery. In RL, it still is pretty ugly and dark, nothing like in the bottle color. Bleh, but I'll live with it XP

2. My Japanese textbook. Which I should read more often, but I don't :P

3. Paintbrushes! Since I'm doing a lot of painting projects (which I hate). I had to buy new ones since this lady I sat next to had similar brushes and I think she took mines on accident =(

4. My Coach coinpurse. It's all dirty and banged up, but I never leave the house without it (:

5. Almay eye makeup remover wipes. I think I've mentioned this before, but these are the shit! Will review soon.

6. Muffin's flea comb. Not that she allows me to use it on her. Or that she allows me to touch her at all for that matter -____-;;

7. Puppy shampoo for Happy. I was a little wary about it since it was Hartz brand and if you've read my post about flea collars, theirs was soo so toxic! But it was the only one I could find. Seems to work well enough though

Mail love, random tag & stuff

I got a few questions in my last post about what camera I use. Believe it or not, it's a plain old p&s, nothing fancy -- a Sony Cybershot DSC-S730. It has a macro setting, and I have no idea why it's so great but it is :P I am hoping to get my hands on a Nikon D90 soon though.

Also, I got an awesome surprise in the mail yesterday, did not expect it to come so quick! I was an additional winner in Stacy's (http://stacieeelovesit.blogspot.com/) giveaway.
