My mom got me this for Christmas too. It's a makeup palette from Ross, of all places! I was not expecting department store quality, but surprisingly, it is quite comparable to my Sephora Color Play Palette -- infact, even better in some ways!
Pink faux alligator/crocodile skin? Lol
Opens like a book -- 2 sided
Left side has 4 e/s, 2 rows of lippies, 1 row blush, 1 row bronzer.
Right side has 10 rows of eyeshadows.
I'll swatch the eyeshadows first.
First, the downside is that the shadows are on the powdery side and very soft textured. Also, ALL of the shadows are pearl/shimmer finish. No matte. The upside is that MANY of the shades (moreso the darker ones) are beautifully pigmented!
I esepcially like Rows 7, 8, 9, and 10. But that's just because I like brown/golds.
Rows 2, 3, and 5 are really nicely pigmented too.

Here's the other side.
These are not as pigmented as the other shadows. Better for highlighting.
The blushes are super pretty, but a bit too "dolly" for me. The middle two are more shimmery and the top and bottom are more matte. My favorite is the top shade... it's a pretty peachy-coral.
I'm not sure if this is all supposed to be bronzer... the first shade is really light and the second shade blends right into my skin. Suppose that would be better for lighter skin. The last two are a lot darker and good for contouring. They are all matte shades.

Here's the lippies.
Lip palettes kinda disgust me and I never use them, and this is no exception.
Too bad, because some of the shades are really pretty! Yeah, I forgot to add that one shade in the Row 2 picture; in Row 1. Oops.

Overall I really like this palette for the eyeshadows! A lot of them are better pigmented than those in my Sephora Color Play Palette. It's nice to have for the pretty pearl/shimmer and you can create a lot of looks with this. The bronzers are really nice and smooth too.
Just goes to show you don't always gotta pay an arm & a leg for good quality!
