EDM Natural Lipgloss

So, this is what I ordered from EDM... Natural Lipgloss in "Bamboo"

This is what it looks like...

Here's some swatches in different lighting...

The actual color (IMO) is a peachy-coral pink with a hint of gold shimmer. It's not too sheer and the color shows up well on lips... actually I find it a bit dark (I'm partial to nude shades), but not in a bad way though.

And here's what it looks like applied in different lighting. Like I said, it appears "darker" in real life. It gives a nice subtle shine. I have very dry, chapped lips ATM, so it settled into my lip lines a bit. (Click to biggify!) The third picture is about the closest to what I feel it actually looks like in real life.

And here's my kissy face o(^3^)o~~

And here's the actual review...

Product Description: This fresh gloss is great to keep with you throughout the day. It’s moisture-rich formula and slight hint of peachy pink color will instantly perk up your smile.

Ingredients: helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, euphorbia cerifera (candelilla) wax, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, theobroma grandiflorum (cupuaçu) seed butter , mangifera indica (mango) seed butter, vitis vinifera (grape) seed oil, oenothera biennis (evening primrose) oil, rubus fruticosus (blackberry) seed oil, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf oil, tocopherol. May contain: iron oxide, mica, titanium dioxide.

Pros: natural ingredients, goes on silky smooth, moisturizing, lasting wear, sheer/buildable color, relatively inexpensive.

Cons: no good smell/taste (which is not exactly a con anyway).

What I thought about it: New favorite lipgloss right here! I was debating which shade to buy and I ended up getting "Bamboo." It's a peachy/coral color with slight gold shimmer, which is a little too much color for me since I like more neutral shades. I'm thinking of getting "English muffin" and "Siesta" as well. Despite that I don't care for the shade too much, the finish and benefits are top-notch. It glides on smooth, doesn't really accentuate dryness, instantly moisturizes, and lasts a really long time. The color is more of a sheer wash of color but you can layer it or pair it with other gloss to change up the shade. It also gives off a nice light shine which is great for everyday wear. The natural ingredients are a definite plus... lots of fruit and seed oil... no chemicals. Also, EDM is cruelty-free and vegan! Oh, and I'd also like to mention another reason why I LOVE EDM: their shipping. My orders always get here so quick, even here in Hawai'i. I LOVE IT (;

    As i was saying, Congrats on your scholarship! =) it's a pain not being able to receive goverment money for going school just because your parent's income if too high. I am glad you were able to receive a few amount of cash to help for school. And as for Coach? i like the old school C's more than the current one. idk, it's just my style and i am totally not digging the new C logo. esp since the colors look a bit metallic. =/
