Blogger buddie award for YOU! (:

I decided to create my own award to give away since I've met so many nice people and interesting bloggers since I've started my own blog here last year. I never really thought anyone would find my blog let alone find it interesting LOL xD So I would like to give this award to: Askmewhats, MK, Kym, Dana, Mai, and Cherrielantern.

In turn, you can give this award to as many bloggers as you want, that you find are interesting posters and most friendly. Don't forget to let them know you're awarding them lol. Hopefully this'll encourage more people to become "blogger buddies" (;

あんみつ姫 [Anmitsu Hime]

Has anyone else ever watched this J-Comedy? We watched it in Japanese for the past two classes (yay) and I enjoyed it a lot hehe. It's pretty funny and entertaining (: here's a little synopsis:
"At age 16, a tomboy princess, Princess Anmitsu, has no love interest in her life and worries her parents. Despite their concern, Anmitsu runs away from the castle to venture into the commoners' life. During her daring adventure, she befriends a group of children who make a living by pick-pocketing. At the same time, she finally meets her prince charming Senbei, the leader of the group. However, she soon finds herself in an awkward position when she learns of the children's new plot: they are planning to steal the treasures from her own castle. Will she be able to put a stop to it without revealing her true identity?"
Woot for guys that look like girls hehe xD

My uneventful weeked

Hi, it's me again.

I'm a lot bigger now. But stuff outside still scares me. I'm NOT ALLOWED to go outside.

I loooove playing. With everything. I also love to EAT.

Here's a video of the little monster *ahem* Miko (or Meeko or whatever) playing with some ribbon. My parents have been calling her that (like the raccoon from Pocahontas because her tail looks like a raccoon's when she's excited). I still call her meatball or fatso because she's a little PORKER. Lol.

Anyways, I enjoyed my Memorial day weekend. Lots of sleeping in, which I love (: a bit of browsing, actual shopping, and hauling (oh nooo). Anyways, here's what I bought from Macy*s today... I loooove SALES xD

I've had my eyes on these BCBG slippers for awhile now so I played the waiting game with them and they came down to $19.99 and today I got them for a bit over $17 :P And I like turquoise (it's more of that color in real life) so I also snagged these hella cute intimates on sale too. I was on the prowl for some lingerie with no luck x_X hehe lol.

And I had a kind of stupid question to ask you girls:
Do you match your underwear? Lol. Kind of awkward sorry :P But I just don't personally know anyone who actually buys all their bras/panties/thongs/etc. in matching sets. I've seen it on movies and tv... but does anyone actually do that every darn day? xD

NYX Double Sided Eye Pencil review

NYX Double Sided Eye pencil in Dark brown/black and Silver/black.

Product Description: Sick of carrying around tons of makeup for one look? The Double-sided Eye Liner and Shadow has two shades of liners in one pencil. Use one for lining, use the other for shadow, or use as your inner Goddess tells you to!

Pros: Glides on smoothly, great color payoff (picture doesn't do it justice), lots of product.

Cons: lead is soft, doesn't sharpen to a fine point.

What I thought about it: I'm really glad that I went out on a limb here and decided to get the silver pencil. I love the color (: The dark brown is great and natural as a liner and shadow. I haven't tried the black side yet but I'm expecting it to be great as well. I like that these pencils glide on smoothly and give a lot of color payoff however the lead is really soft and these pencils do not sharpen very well at all. They are super big though so they'll last a long time. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with these eyeliners.

NYX Tinted Lip Spa review

NYX Tinted Lip Spa in "Copacabana"

Here's what it looks like applied. It's a soft, natural pink. I used my Burt's Bees lip balm as a base before applying.

Product Description: Tinted lip spa is full of moisturizing and nourishing benefits to give your lips that spa treatment they deserve.

Ingredients: Ceresin wax, Microcrystalline wax, Beeswax, Olive Wax, Titanium dioxide, Mica, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Lanolin oil, Hydrogenated resin, Pigment.

Pros: lots of shine, natural, sheer color, not exactly sticky, goes on smooth, moisturizing, minty smell.

Cons: somewhat "tacky" feel.

What I thought about it: I like that this lip gloss offers A LOT of shine and sheer color. I got "Copacabana" because it seemed the most natural. When applied, it looks a bit more pink in real life than in the pictures but it's still pretty natural. It is pretty moisturizing, I suppose. It didn't dry out my lips like a lot of other glosses do. However, I expected it to be a bit more moisturizing and pampering, especially with a name like "Lip Spa." It isn't exactly sticky but does have a tacky feel to it and your hair will get stuck in it. However, this isn't that unbearable. It has a nice minty smell and applies smoothly. I used my Burt's Bees lip balm as a base first though.

Sephora FACE Very Sexy Nourishing Lip Balm review

Sephora FACE Very Sexy Nourishing Lip Balm SPF 15

It's in a relatively large pot, will last a long time. Looks pretty and pink.

Very very smooth; jelly type of lip balm.

Goes on clear more than anything.

Here's what it looks like applied. And now for the full review:

Product description: What it is: A nourishing lip balm with a pearlescent sheen. What it does: Sephora Brand Very Sexy Nourishing Lip Balm is a delightfully good-for-you mix of shea butter and vitamins glistening with a pearl shine effect. Dab it on to fortify and beautify your pout. The balm makes an excellent lipstick base.

Ingredients: Active sunscreens - Octinoxate (7.5%), Octisalate (3%), Avobenzone (2%), and Octocrylene (2%). Sorry, I threw away the box with the rest of the ingredients on it :(

Pros: smooth texture, high shine, moisturizing, long lasting, spf 15, not exactly sticky, somewhat nourishing.

Cons: perfumey smell, no pearlescent shimmer, somewhat "tacky" feel.

What I thought about it: The worst thing about this is the smell. It just smells way too perfumey lol. And that's saying something, as I usually can stand scented products. Other than that, I like that this gloss is very smooth to apply and does seem to be moisturizing. It lasts all day and gives A LOT of shine. It's not exactly sticky but it does feel a bit "tacky" (most likely due to the spf). Your hair will get stuck in it. Also, there is no pearlescent shimmer. This is more of just a clear, jelly type gloss. I said it's somewhat nourishing because my lips have been dry and chapping for awhile now and it did seem to make them softer and smoother, but oddly still kind of dry at the same time. However, I would still use this just because it seemed to help a bit. It's in a relatively large pot so it'll last a long time too. I'm not sure about using this as a lipstick base though, since I used my own Burt's Bees lip balm as a base before applying this. Overall, it wasn't a total bust but I'm not exactly satisfied with it either. I wish it had that pearelscent color that it appears like in the jar.

Juicy ♥'s Sephora wristlet overview

So, this was only $39 and it was just so cute, I had to snag it since I own nothing Juicy Couture (besides a ridiculously priced shirt my Dad bought me -_-;;) so this was a semi-introductory product to this brand for me personally. I didn't expect it to be GREAT, since it's Juicy from Sephora rather than Juicy at a retail store. Anyways, it's cute, spacious, and functional. The velour is not luxurious or anything, but you get what you pay for. I don't mind. It is a bit garish with all the gold bits but it's still something I would use with a matching outfit.

There's 4 slots for credit cards, etc. "Charge it!"... nice afterthough lol. Snugly holds your cards without making it hard to remove when you need them.

The inside is quilted pink... still pretty cute. It's actually quite spacious. Enough room to hold my cards and coin purse inside (probably could fit my phone too).

So all in all, it's cutesy and functional, despite not being super luxury like Juicy from a retail store, it does the job. If you like having the super luxurious deal, then I wouldn't buy this. However, if you're looking for something small and simple just to try out a brand, then I would reccommend it.
