Most of you will know that I have had practically NO interest in any MAC products EVER... I don't care about their eyeshadow, foundation, lippies... nothing has ever impressed me so much that I felt instantly attracted to it.That is, until I saw this post on Lulu's blog (the picture is also from her blog -hope that's okay ^^- since the ones I found on google don't do it justice!)
This is the most beautiful blush I have ever seen. And I am not even big on blushes (although I have been using a few lately). But this is just... gorgeous. I guess maybe it's just simple and boring to all you blush aficionados out there... but to me, it's love. And apparently, it's selling out like crazy :( I would venture to our MAC counter to have a look... but most of you know how I completely and utterly LOATHE the MAC counter at our Macy's, and we have no freestanding stores. Boo.
So I suppose this will be put on my lemming list of absolutely beautiful but absolutely unnecesarry makeup products that I'll be lusting after.

I use to be so anti MAC. I didn't get what the big deal was. But OMG. I'm addicted to their lip products, pigments, eyeshadow and makeup remover... it smells so good!!
ReplyDeleteThat blush is sold out all over my area. I got a few things from that collection, but I didn't think to get the blush :(
Er... unfortunately this is all but gone by now. Some rumors of repromoting it but I wouldn't hold my breath.
ReplyDeleteI guess the ombre thing is cool but EL has a Peach Nuance blush that looks incredibly similar to MAC Ripe Peach. Additionally, the actual color didn't jump out at me as being incredibly unique. I think it looks a lot like LM Apricot and many other more peach than pink peachy pinks.

im not such a fan of the Mac e.s, I guess I feel I should give my palattes more loving and works just the same. their blush is a definatly a go, because the colors will always be true to its color, unlike some blush when you look at it in the container and it looks soft pink but when you swatch it, it might look orangey on your skin.
I've had the exact same lemming. I'm just heartbroken that I was sick when it came out and couldn't make it to the store to buy it. T.T SOOOO SAD!!!

ReplyDeleteYou know I'm a typical mac addict.... Blushes, eyeshadows the usual. I only picked up that one blush and one shadow. I try and resist unless it's so breathtaking that if be upset if I didn't get a certain product.
ReplyDeleteThat is really pretty! :3 I got my makeup done by MAC for my senior prom years ago, lol. I've tried their powder foundation, lipgloss, eyeliner, and blush? I'm not very consistent with them because they're so ridiculously expensive for no reason hahaha. Anddd, I love trying new things :]

Getting that blush will be HARD! These girls went nuts over it. I "heard" there may be a new shipment of the blush ombres, but not for certain. :/

ReplyDeleteI have no intrest in mac as well. just something about it being so big and popular didn't really attract me. seeing that title and those colors on the blush makes me want to go eat some peaches now. you should totally get it!
ReplyDeletei love this blush, it's very subtle and natural. i know what you mean about the makeup counters though, most of the time the sales people are bitchy and rude...although lately i have had a few nice ones :) hope you can get your hands on this! :)
ReplyDeleteI really really wanted the same blush. I went to 4 MAC counters and free standing stores looking for it just 3 days after the collection came out... it was all sold out. So sad! I'm eying Bobbi Brown Pot Rouges now.

I don't really use blush but I'm up for venturing into other makeup things :D What I'm loving now is the MAC gaga lipstick that almost everyone is getting.. btw I agree with you in the post below! I would get laser eye surgery is anything :)

ReplyDeleteI have this blush and i LOVE it! you can use the light side or the darker side separately or you can just kind of sweep your brush over the colors and.... gorrrrgeous!
